Lions is a community service organisation!

People join Lions because they want to use their intellect, creativity, commitment and enthusiasm to get things done.

Annual Golf Day

For the past 18 years, we have run an annual Golf Day with the original beneficiary being the Childflight Helicopter Service. Since 2013, this service supporting Newborn and Paediatric Emergency Transport Services has been operated by Careflight. The next Golf Day will be held at Gordon Golf Club on Wednesday 25th October 2017 teeing off at 12.00noon. To enter in the competition at a cost of $60 per player contact reg.wallin@veolia.com.au

Community Service Awards

The Lions club of Ku-ring-gai has been acknowledging the work undertaken by local unsung heroes with the presentation of Community Service Awards since 1999. Awards are presented in memory of past presidents of the club for services to various activities. The event was first introduced by John King and is now known at the John King Memorial awards ceremony.
